Meet the Tables at Redgum Estates
Six tables, four card games and a house dealer who never leaves the box until the last hand of the night.
A Second Look at the Tables
Six tables sit under the same trusses as the old weighing room, close enough together that the house dealer can watch every hand from the box without moving.
Five hundred and euchre draw the biggest tables early in the evening; crib and canasta run smaller games nearer the tea counter.
No machine sits anywhere in this room — every hand is dealt by a person, chips carry no cash value, and every player through the door is 18 or over.

House Dealer
One dealer runs the box each night, teaching new players the rules before the first hand.
Four Games
Five hundred, euchre, crib and canasta rotate through the week, with Friday poker on top.
No Wagering
Chips keep score only — no cash changes hands and nothing here is played online.
Table Conduct
- Seats are held for fifteen minutes past booking time before they’re given to walk-ins.
- The house dealer’s call on a disputed hand is final, and it’s rarely needed.
- Drinks at the tables are tea, coffee, lemonade or water only, kept well clear of the felt.
- Phones stay in pockets at the tables; calls are taken back at the tea counter.
